You Think: Ohhhh I hope they use the "zha-ku-LEEN" pronounciation--it's so pretty! She might have to correct people on the pronounciation a lot, but they'll catch on and it's worth it. I love the combo with that pronounciation, otherwise it's just ok. I hate how the "JAK-e-lin" pronounciation reminds me of "jackal."

You Say: Hi, Gemma.
You Think: Argh, I always want to pronounce that name "GEM-ma" with a hard "g" instead of "JEM-ma". I like the sound better that way, too. Oh well, the combo isn't bad if I can just get my head wrapped around the "JEM-ma" bit. I like Noelle better than Gemma, though--nice name, and no ambiguity about pronounciation. People won't try to pronounce that as "NOL" like they do Noel.

You Think: It's a pretty combo. It does remind me of the word "tesseract" from "A Wrinkle in Time," LOL (there's a word I don't think of every day), but that's not too bad, and I love the nn Tess.

This is my daughter Lily-Rose Cheyenne

You Think: Ok, I suppose I'll learn to associate this with the girl, rather than the flowers and it won't sound odd anymore, but Lily and Rose right together are a little much, especially hyphenated. And for some reason I feel like Cheyenne Rose sounds like a name of a kind of rose (I know it's not a rose breed, but I don't know the correct term). The three together just don't sound right to me.

You Think: The two names together get a little long, and don't think they flow well. I love Jonathan, though. Jonathan Patrick, Jonathan Daniel...Jonathan Zachary even flows better to me.
