Girls
Iona
Skye
JuraI don't mind Iona, and I love Skye. Jura is nms but it could grow on me. I also love Isla even though it's not on your list.Boys
Arran
Islay
Harris Arran is very nice, Islay feels feminine to me even though I know it's not, and Harris is a surname or a coffee brand.*ponders adding Arran to her list*

I like Iona, Skye and Islay for girls and Arran and Harris for boys. Islay is pronounced EYE-la, so it sounds very feminine to me. I don't like Jura, in German it means law or the word that describes the Jurassic age.

Just as a side, I live in Scotland and I've never seen Islay used it on a boy, though I've seen it several times on girls. Despite the spelling it's pronounced EYE-lah, not EYE-lay, and so it's used as a female name like the more popular Isla is.I like Iona, and Skye for either sex. I used to like Harris but I think it's too trendy these days, plus an uncle I don't like much used it for his son ;-)_____________________________________________________________________Elinor

I love the name Iona, it was my great aunt's name. She was elegant and beautiful and thus the name reminds me of all of her great characteristics!
