[Opinions] Bartimaeus?

My friend Emy used this name in a short story she was writing. I was surprised not to have found it on the database. I assume it is related to Bartholomew? WDYT of this name? I really like it!!1st Corinthians 9:24-27

There's actually a trilogy out called The Bartimaeus Trilogy... Bartimaeus is a djinni. I've only read the first book. It's aimed at a slightly younger audience, but it's not bad. Anyway, that's what I think of when I hear the name. It's not bad. I don't think I would use it personally - it seems more suited to a character for me. But I like it well enough.------

Wow. Great name. I love Bartholomew, and this (I assume) variant is very romantic. It transports me back in time - a feature I adore in a name. Thanks.
