[Opinions] Folant
Wdyt of Folant? I've really been into Welsh names lately, and I love the good meaning behind Folant. Like it, dislike it?
Oh, and I'm kind of having namer's block and I can't seem to think of any mn's. Got any? Thanks :)

I think it's really cute! Very unique. Don't know how it would go down outside of Wales though.
Folant sounds like either something to spary on tres to help them put out healthy leaves, or else a folic acid supplement you take while pregnant.
When I saw that I thought "must be French" Interesting, haven't heard of it. unusual yet has a bland sound to me. Not a bad name though.
Remember that in Welsh, "f's" are pronounced like "v's." It took me a minute to realize how Folant could be a variant of Valentine.
Sorry, but even with the "v" pronunciation, it doesn't appeal to me. But it is a classic, and for that alone it earns my respect. I'll try to see if I can come up with a mn or two:
Folant Rhys
Folant Owen
Folant Evan / Ifan ("EE-von?")
Folant Morgan
Folant Hugh / Huw
Folant Ivor
Folant Jasper
Folant Gareth
Happy hunting!

Folate . . .
That was the first thing that came into my head. Conceptually I can see why Folant might be attractive, but it sounds chemical to me sorry.
