Please do not just guess at things--this board is for facts, not for your gut feeling (which is not even close to correct).
According to Namenerds.com's page of Scottish names, it's pronunced AY-lee or EH-lee. That site has been, in my experience, pretty reliable with pronunciation, but it'd probably be best if someone could confirm that.
