[Opinions] I like it, but . . .
. . . I agree with Reyanna, having known a guy at school who was teased mercilessly because his rather rotund mother was named Beryl (barrell). And that's in Australia where the pronunciation is much less like Barrell than it would be in America!Pity - beryls are a lovely jewel. If she likes jewel names, what about Topaz, Ruby, Opal, Pearl, Coral? . . . or there's Onyx (just kidding :-D)
