[Opinions] Re: Dixiana
in reply to a message by The LP
It is extremely trashy. Anything that sounds like you take two random syllables and stick them together is horrible. Dixiana, Celestiana, Crystalina, Lashondrianne, Shaelinmari, they're all bizarre. By the way, I have met people with each of those last four names, and I have no idea if I spelled them right. :P

Be careful with your Name and Subject fields please, Laura
I also note that you've come back under a modified name (lilbabylaura -> Laura), which you know perfectly well is against the rules. Please use your existing name and account or be marked as an MPD again.

Sorry, I don't plan 2 be posting much, as I pretty much slapped myself around enough last time I was on here (I am really sorry, by the way), but if you want, I'll use lilbabylaura.
Celestiana's not so bad
though personally I prefer Celestielle. :-)
Crystalina also seems workable, though nms. A bit elaborate, but some people like elaborations.
Lashondrianne sounds like a created African-American name, which is not necessarily a bad thing. You gotta hand it to some of the more creative black mothers, the names they create are downright poetic, if you listen to the syllables. I admire the fact that African-American culture seems as a whole to appreciate and reward true uniqueness in naming, not the twee faux-"unique" names some yuppies come up with.
The thing to remember is, everyone's different, everyone has a different idea of beauty, of style, and that's not a bad thing.
