Both are a little too trendy/popular for me, but I prefer Liam. Connor is very 1990s-trendy to me. (I slightly prefer Conor, though) Liam reminds me of Liam Neeson, which is nice. :b

Of the two, I definitely prefer Connor. It's a fave of mine, though I slightly more prefer the sp. Conner. Liam is nice too, either on its own or as a NN for William, but I just find Connor to be more appealing.

Connor

Adore it, my favourite boys name for as long as I can remember. It is strong and handsome and gorgeous. Liam is also wonderful though.

I personally LOATHE Liam.

With that simply stated - I ADORE Connor. What about Connor Liam? Or William Connor nn *grins teeth* Liam. I really see Liam as a horrible nn for William (which I love and perfer no nn). I'd perfer to see it being used as a nn though then a full name

I like them both, but I prefer Connor as a fn if I have to choose. I like Connor enough to seriously consider for a child one day and Liam enough to consider it as a mn for a child one day.

I'm getting kind of sick of seeing both of them. I think they had their moment in the past two years or so during the "Irish name boom" or Aidans, etc.

If I had to pick one over the other, I'd take Connor marginally because while I like Liam as a NN for William, it does feel very NN-y.
