I can't understand why names for either gender are so popular.

Brooke Burke's babies all sound like hippies. Nothing wrong with hippies- but when you go out of your way to make a dreamy glazed look come to a person's eye when they say a name..... too much. Ziggy does well, I think.

Heaven Rain? How tacky. Also Sierra Sky is tacky too, sounds like something thought up by a pot-smoking teenaged hippie wannabe at four in the morning. How come Neriah got off so easy? Aside from the fact that people will probably mishear it and think she's Mariah.
Gideon is at least a name, though i do think it sounds like something you tell a horse to make it go. Judah is very much a boy's name. Also makes me want to go zippety-judah... Oh well, for somebody named Ziggy, he did pretty well.

LOL. Since Rain is associated with dreariness and gloominess and Heaven is associated with, well, happiness, the combo seems to be a kind of oxymoron, IMO. Or a description of a candle you would buy at a new age fair.
Neriah got off easy because she was named for a model friend of her mother's. I don't like Neriah on a girl anyway because it's very much a male name in Hebrew.

Such a hit or miss ...
since I love Criminal Minds, Gideon (Mandy Patinkin's character is Jason Gideon) has really grown on me (more in another person's child way), but Heaven and the rest of Brooke's childrens names really are not my cup of tea. In fact, I've always been surprised (since I love her name, Brooke Burke just has that ring to it) with what she's chosen. However, Rain & Sky are okay but Heaven Rain?

Heaven is hideously corny, especially when paired with Rain. Rain is beautiful for both genders on its own, though. Sierra Sky is the epitomy of typical "we want our daughter to have a unique name"-ness. Neriah isn't my cup of tea, but it's on the wrong gender, which makes it worse.
Gideon is a very lovely name. Nesta is a girl's name. Judah I love on a boy but detest on a girl. Victoria is pretty but overused. Seems like he should have went with Gideon Judah and Nesta Victoria.
Overall, not bad for celebrities. They could have been a lot worse. I'm glad that at least Heaven will go by Rain.
