I love Millie. And a plus IMO is that it's really not popular in the USA; it's quite a bit more popular in England & Scotland, according to the popularity charts.
Miley makes me think of Smiley, which for some reason, just irks me. I prefer the Hawaiian spelling, Maile. I think I like the sound of the name better than any of the spellings. :-\
Alternatives to Miley:
Mila (like it prn either mie-lah or mee-lah)
Millie
Milana (like it prn Mee-lah-na)
Milena (like it prn Mih-lay-na)
