[Opinions] Ackley
Wdyt? Pronounced ack(as in smACK) - lee
Heard it at the video shop today, I'm guessing that is how it is spelt. The kid was about 3-4yrs old. His mother looked about late 30's early 40's. It seemed kinda strange because it sounded more like a name from a younger person not older lady.
I've been ummmming and ahhhhing over whether or not i like it.

It's just so........ ACK!
Ack is a term to show disgust. I don't like this name at all.

Sounds like acne to me...
Oh, dear. I'd be hard put to come up with a more unpleasant sound: ack-ack. I don't think there's any redeeming this one.

I kinda like it, its cute, but im partial to surnames
I don't like it because . . .
. . . because I use "ack!" as an expression meaning anything from "yuck" to "aargh" to "ouch", so it sounds like a funny description (ie "I had a really ack-ley day today") to me.
