I'd much rather just see Lyle or Carl. Carlisle just strikes me as one more in a long like of surname names that aren't going date well.

Wow, way to go me for not clicking on the name. I knew it was male but didn't realize it was actually a surname. I've never run across anyone with it as a last name before either, but I know what you mean. I had just been looking at my friend's book, Twilight, and one of the character's names was Carlisle, and it started me thinking. Thanks again. :)
