[Opinions] Re: Celia
in reply to a message by Idony
Lol, I was just thinking about how Alice & Celia are anagrams the other day. I think it's a neat way to honor your sister...more like an inside joke way of honoring her, but definitely not corny. I love both Celia and Cecilia. I prefer Celia pronounced SEH-lyah (and my family is Hispanic and Spanish-speaking, so that's standard for us). I don't think this pronunciation or the SEE-lee-uh pronunciation should be too similar to cilia.Right now my #1 girl combo is Celia Mehitabel. I always thought Mehitabel was so over the top / unusable, but with Celia, for some reason, I love it. It seems you like French names, so I'll base my list on that...Celia Pascale
Celia Manon
Celia Louison
Celia Salomé
Celia Philomène
Celia Sandrine
Celia Victoire
Celia Thaïs
Celia Clémence
Celia Valentine
Celia Nathalie
Celia Marcelle
Celia Ghislaine

Celia Philomène- My paternal grandma was called Philomena.
