[Facts] Re: Russian/Belorussian Girl's name: a search
well yes, our NNs differ from American for example, but Belorussia, Russia and Ukraine use the same names and NNs so Veta works for Belorussian lady too.As for Vika/Vita, i'd say that all Viktorias that I know go by NN Vika.. Vita is less popular and I knew only one Vita (i was 5 at that time :)) And I'm not sure if she was Viktoria or Vitalina.
And I like Vika much more than Vita, maybe because "Vita" resembles of the masculine name Vitaliy.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Me fail English? That's unpossible! (c) Ralph Wiggum Lena, future mum to Alexandra and Lev.
Maybe there also will be Emiliya, Max or Inna.
