Help[Opinions] Bayla
I still have water names running around my head. I dont know why, but since this morning I got the urge to find more water names I like since I really do like bodies of water.
I just came up with Bayla. Which seems to be the best Bay name I can think of. Baylyn has the ever so trendy lyn ending, and Bayleigh which was suggested, is just a creative spelling of Bailey.
Opinions on Bayla?
(I am not saying I am actually thinking about using these names, but I am bored and seeing what I can come up with)

My name is Kayla, and I despise that B you've stuck on the frontof my "ayla."

I don't like it- it seems very made-up, sorry. I know a girl with a cousin (male) named just Bay. I think that's nice.

Océane- Oceane- prn. o-say-AN
Kelda- "a spring"
Muireann- prn. like Maureen, "fair sea"

Aeronwy- "berry river" or "river berry"
Tallulah- "leaping waters"
Maris- "of the sea"
Elva- "ripples in a stream" (in Icelandic)

Bay
Jubal- "small stream"
Lake
Raeburn- "stream where does drink" (does, as in female deer)
Mortimer- "still water"
Llyr- "the sea"
Dylan- "sea"
Rio- "river"
Morgan- "sea circle", Morgan as a fem. name is probably unrelated to this meaning.
Wilburn- "stream from a spring"
Dacre- "trickling stream"
Caspian- like the Caspian Sea
Either:
Ocean
River
Kai- "the sea"
Meredith- "sea lord", I prefer this on a boy, but it's usually considered unisex
Shannon- heh ;), "old wise river" (although sometimes said to mean "little wise one" like Seanán- Seanan)

I usually don't like B names that much...but this is sorta refreshing for some reason....dunno why.

Bailey, however it's spelled (but more so if Bailee, Baylee), is far too trendy.
Bayla just sounds daft. Like "bail of" with a some dialect or other. Got a bayla water? Sorry :-(

Honestly?
It sounds stupid. If you want a name that has something to do with water, don't make up stupid names. Do a search, and find a name that has a water meaning. There are tons of names with water meanings.
Bayla sounds like a kreativ dog's name.
