Help[Opinions] Joy?
Hey, haven't posted in a long time, but a few names have been bouncing around my head and I thought I'd share them:
Joy
Eve / Eva
Lily / Lila
Adriana / Ariana
Rachael
Sage

I think I could consider any one of these for a future daughter - what do you think? My favorite is Joy. I know a couple who after years of fertility issues got pregnant with twins, but due to genetic problems, one of them died in utero at about 19 or 20 weeks, I think. The remaining daughter was named Joy. Her middle name was Olivia, and their last name was Y______ so her initials were JOY. It might be a bit tacky to some, but she really is their joy in life, and it's a beautiful name. WDYT?

I absolutely love Joy. Mostly because of its meaning but it sounds beautiful too. I have a good associate with this name too which helps.
Eve is so beautiful, one of my favourites actually. Its so short and simple, yet very elegant, has a good meaning and history. I think Eva's ok but Eve appeals to me more.
Lily - Beautiful. Lilies are my favourite flowers too so I guess that's why I love it. I prefer Lilia over Lila, I don't like the long "I" sound in Lila.
Rachael is my own name which I've never really liked or disliked but I think I'd prefer the spelling Rachel. I guess I'm neutral on Rachael.
Adriana's very pretty. I prefer Aria to Ariana though.
Sage is nms, to be honest.
I'm neutral on April. All I think of is April Showers. I much prefer other month names like May or June.

In my opinion, joy is not a name; it is a word, and I noticed that many girls named Joy are not happy all the time.

Joy - I prefer it as a mn, but it's nice enough as either.
Eve / Eva - I like Eve a lot, but not Eva.
Lily / Lila - I like Lila by itself but Lily as a nn for Lillian.
Adriana / Ariana - I dislike Adriana because I can never decide how to say it, and that puts me off. Ariana I like pronounced a-ree-A-na.
Rachael - Incredibly overused in my area.
Sage - A little odd, but it has a nice sound. A mn maybe?
April - I can't decide whether I like this or May best of month names, they're both lovely.
