Miranda was the name of one of the characters in one of my stories. She became a mother at 16, and ran away from her husband and children at 25. Don't worry, things work out, because she later on realizes what she could be doing to the children by not being around and comes back. So of course, I don't think of law enforcement, just a change of heart.

I don't know why Miranda declined in popularity. Could be just a nation-wide loss of interest. I does happen.
