What do you think as Luc as a nick name on a girl. I love the name Lucas but I know it's a girl. And I know I'm being a board hog but would you mind looking at these names and saying your opinions and saying some other suggestions for Luc. And stating your opinion on Luc on a girl. ThanksOh, and I figure all these are pronounced with a begining like Lucy but I can always pronounce with a hard C.

I don't like it, but I think that Luca would be a cute nn for Lucasta.Shannon

luciana is ok. I REALLY don't like the name Lucas or Luke for a boy because of bad associations but I think Luc might be cute for a girl spelled thhat way. And as a nn for luciana, it's great!

I find Luc on a girl totally weird and... no. Luc (prn. not look, but with a French "u") is a common name in my country, and totally male. Lucy pron. looky seems totally weird and ugly to me, although I love the normal Lucy.I love the other names, but not with a hard c, except Luciana (loo-kya-na in Latin, so ok). Sorry.What about: Luca, Lucasta, Lucia (Latin prn, loo-kya), Lucija (loo-ki-ya), Lucilla (loo-ki-la), Lucretia, Lucrezia, Luksa (loo-ksa)?
