The accents over the e's are called umlauts. Like this: ë. You can make it by turning your num-locks on, holding down the alt key, and typing 0235 on the number keypad on the right side of your keyboard.

Unless, of course, you have no number keypad
The numbers that are on top of your regular letter keyboard won't do the trick.
