I love the clean look of
Elin. I've always heard it pronounced "AY-lin" or "EH-lin" (similar to
Ellen). A few weeks before the
Tiger Woods thing I even considered starting a thread about it.
But now with all the talk of Mr. w's wife and the "EE-lin" pronunciation, I've gone off the name. I can't take that pronunciation and that's the way everyone here in the U.S. will say it from now on. Grrrrr.
My bottom line:
Elin, "AY-lin," is lovely.
