[Facts] Re: How about Samuelita?
Samuelita may also be found in Lusophone nations; -ita is also a Portuguese suffix. Samuelinha or Muelinha is more usual though.I would suggest they are all diminutive versions of Samuela. Just like 'Sammy'/'Sammie' (Br.Eng.) is a pet form of Samuel/Sam in English.
