I like it because it reminds me of biblical names like Elijah and Isaiah, I guess.Roni is a Hebrew name which means "joyful song" or something similar, I don't remember exactly. I once found Ronia and Roniya in a book with Hebrew names and it seems to have the same meaning as Roni.
