Hmm, I like the sound of Genévrier, but I think Genièvre is a more common word for Juniper in French. I really like the idea of French nature words as names, though, so I've been combing the French Republican Calendar for ideas! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Republican_Calendar#Days_of_the_year . I don't know if any of these (or Genévrier) are useable, particularly in English, but they sure are fun to think about.
