One-Eyed Baylor, or "Baylor of the Poison Eye," was one of the Formorians in Irish myth, essentially a monster famous for his eye that killed people with a look. (I think he was finally defeated by being tricked into looking at his reflection in a lake, but I'll have to double-check.)
I cannot understand why someone would name their daughter Baylor... That's worse than Charybdis...
EDIT: Just looked it up, the mythological character is actually Balor, but I wonder if it's pronounced as BA-lor (with a short 'a') or the same as Baylor. In any event, he was actually killed by
Lugh, with a slingshot to the eye that drove the eye out of the back of his head, which then killed his army when it looked upon them. Gruesome stuff.
