I really am not a fan of Fred at all. But if I had too, I would pick Fredric for a boy or Winifred for a girl.
Fredric Montgomery and I'd avoid calling him Fred, using Ricky or Eddie or maybe Edric instead.
Winifred Elise and I would totally call her Freddi :)
