I think Donovan is a handsome name, to be sure. It's currently in my Top 10 for boys. I've only ever come across one baby boy named Donovan (no nickname), and that was over a year ago, so I don't see it as being "trendy" at all - though Donovan does fit in with a lot of other currently popular names enough not to stick out like a sore thumb.
