Every Mario I know in real life is involved with fixing cars. I can think of 4 off the top of my head.
They seem to be relatively unreliable and a little underhanded/sketchy.
The video game character will always come up, but so what?
There's no telling what the famous video game character of the future will be named.
You could name your kid an obscure name like Telefaro and in 5 years everyone will associate it with one thing that you never even dreamt of.
