[Opinions] About "Ferran"
in reply to a message by Flute
It might not actually be unrelated. The surname Farran is said to be derived from Old French ferrant, meaning "iron grey" (Latin for iron is ferrum).Edit: I didn't realize Ferran was a separate Catalan name derived from Ferdinand (just looked it up). It genuinely looks like it shares the same Latin root as Farran.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
