Alix is one I used to think odd, but a fictional character made me get used to it. Alice is a classic, can't go wrong with it, and Alison is quite lovely too (used that one for a Gen X character, speaking of which). Alys isn't bad, but I sort of prefer Alyss: "Alys" feels like something's missing!
