I'd have automatically pronounced it 'shee-lin' because of it's similarity to Sheila ('shee-la'), the name Leigh ('lee'), and names ending in -leigh (like Kayleigh, Hayleigh, Ashleigh), which are usually pronounced '(whatever)-lee'.Does she have problems with pronunciation?
