I also have a HUGE soft spot for Hebrew names... I'm a walking soft spot for Hebrew names... but this doesn't really work for me. To me, it's like naming your child Luck. I can't hear it without "tov" after it... and Mazal Tova would be too funny for words. That being said, Tova is lovely.I don't like the way it's pronounced, and no one will ever get it right the first time, FYI. They're going to say MAY-zel or mah-ZAHL or something like that. It's a good sentiment, but I would say no to this.
