[Opinions] Re: Scottish Girls' Names 2008

Lol! I think the strangest ones are misspelt words like Daisie, Rubie and Poppie. They just look odd and I can imagine the child will always be correcting people.
I blame Dannii Minogue for starting the trend with the double "ii" at the end, perpetuated by Jordan (mother of Princes Tiamii). Amii looks ridiculous!
I'm pretty certain that these names are African;
Adedolapo
Anjolaoluwa
Ifunanyachukwu
Mofaratioluwa
Ne-Osahanoze
Nmabiazirije
Oluwadamilola - This name makes me think of Damilola Taylor and he was Nigerian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damilola_Taylor
Tamunobelema
Warnakulasuriya
I also think Aryan is a legit name, possibly from India. Perhaps I'll ask about it on the Facts board.
I always thought Zaffira would be a good name for a person. I read somewhere it's "sapphire" in another language, possibly Spanish.
