It strikes me as odd as a first name. It could work as the name of a character or a screen name, but it wouldn't work well for a person. People would either find it sad or tease her over her name.
Alone (a-LO-nee) would just be confusing because people would look at it and pronounce it like the word "alone."
Alona would be preferable to Alone, but then, it sounds like "a loner", so I don't know about that one either.
