[Opinions] Re: Polly

I like Polly very much; it seems more lively and pretty than Molly.
A remote branch of my family tree contains a Hannah Mary cousin who was born in about 1895 and named after her grandmother, who died in the same year. I know nothing about Granny, but Cousin was always known as Polly, until her death when she was 85. So I'm fine with it on an older person!
It could work for Paula, which is the best of the fem forms of Paul but still not a name I'd consider, perhaps because I really like Paul for a boy. If I wanted a Polly daughter - which would be delightful - I'd name her Marianne and let her take her chances.
