I've always liked Everett. It's sweet and gentle and forest-y. I've never thought much about it though until recently. It's been on my mind a lot and I actually think I'd add it to my short list of boys' names I'd consider using in real life. Of course I don't know how my husband feels about it yet, but we're also not currently expecting any babies.
So my questions for you:
1. Benjamin, Margaret, and Everett. I like it. You?
2. Do you think Margaret and Everett sound too matchy? Our Margaret is always called Meg or Meggie, at least at this point in her life.
3. What impression do you get from Everett and what would you think if you met a little one?
4. I see that it's had a big spike in popularity lately (in the US), which doesn't really surprise me. It doesn't really bother me, either, but do you feel like it will continue to get more popular for awhile or hang out in the 100s where it currently is?
Thanks!
eta: My only real concern with using this name is that my husband had a Great Uncle Everett. He was only related through marriage, so had a different last name, but I dunno if that would be weird for his family.
