[Opinions] Re: Tiphanie

The States? The home of misspelled names? I remember when there was a post in the Lounge asking about "Stereotypes of Countries", and so many who were not American cited as a common stereotype of the US, "Misspelled names." Tiphanie goes over fine here. I know that it's not technically a misspelling, but rather a foreign form, but since we are so used to misspellings I think it would be seen as one.
I think I like both spellings about equally. I like the name well enough. My youngest sister hates it.

As I said, I really like Tiffany, but there's no getting around the fact it acquired a very downmarket image pretty quickly, and the Tiphanie spelling just highlights that image and dates the name more than it already is.
In that case, best forget it lol.
