I love Storm, but it does make me think more of Storm from the X-Men than actual storms. And that's a positive association, imo.
I also like Tempest. I've had an original character called Tempest for many years.
I was actually disappointed when I finally read Shakespeare's The Tempest because I expected better after just the name.
Tempest to me is the name that I associate with being steadfast and driven and a force to be reckoned with.
I'm not a fan of Temperance at all.
With the exception of the character Temperance Brennan, the name does sound like Too Much™.
And Tempest as a nn doesn't make sense to me.
