[Opinions] Re: Vigo
in reply to a message by Raven Briar
I prefer the Viggo spelling, because it feels more like a first name. Probably because of Viggo Mortensen.
The Vigo spelling actually reminds me of Fringilla Vigo, a sorceress from The Witcher books (and games, and tv shows...).
Between Vigo, Milo, and Zeno, I like Milo best.

Top: William and Cordelia (main) / Sirius & Eydis (GP) / James & Charlotte (top25)
Bottom: Delsin and Ebba (main) / Dinadan & Neon (GP) / Corvo & Deva (top25)

Is Fringilla Vigo a likeable character or is it a negative association?
Eh, I wouldn't say it's a bad association necessarily. Most sorceresses in that story are morally ambiguous. They can do heroic things, or they can do terrible things, but in general the things they do benefit them for the most part. I guess she's a little bit more sympathetic than most, as a love interest for the main character, Geralt, and because she spends some time imprisoned and tortured for being a magic user.
I think I lean more toward a good association because she's not outright terrible and I'm a fan of the stories.
