Tully Township is one of the twelve townships in Van Wert County, Ohio. The name "Tully" is relatively rare in township naming—Ohio has only one other Tully Township, located in Marion County.
History & Geography
- Tully Township is located in the northwestern corner of Van Wert County, bordering Indiana.
- The township covers 36.2 square miles and had a population of 2,013 as of the 2020 census.
- The village of Convoy is situated in the southeastern part of the township.
Government & Administration
- Like other Ohio townships, Tully is governed by a three-member board of trustees, elected in odd-numbered years.
- It also has an elected township fiscal officer, serving a four-year term.
