[Opinions] You have the metro stop,
Several good resturants.....and that's pretty much it. :-) Its nice, though, that the old Sears/Hechingers building has been replaced.Where in DC are you? Siri

All over Northwest, and then around the rest when I feel like getting out. I don't recall the Sears building off the top of my head... but then again, my memory for picturing places is on the far side of awful. (Except in the case of the truely hideous. I'm thinking FBI building here.) You?

Can't afford DCSo I'm in MD. Old Town Gaithersburg. I grew up within three blocks of Tenley Town, though. ANd I work near there.I actually prefer Maryland, though. You don't have the protests, or the traffic from the protests. Siri

Yeah, I spend a lot of time in Northern VA (used to live in McLean and then Lorton.) Far more peaceful, but in Lorton you used to get the prison siren and a few rednecks. PS: I sometimes find the protests amusing. Especially the LaRouchies. Only when I'm not in a hurry, though.

Oh Lord. LaRouche fans abound at Montgomery College. There have been quite a few White Power protests up near UDC, which bothers me the most. Its interesting that most Washingtonians either pick Virginia or Maryland to spend free time in, rarely do you find people who frequent both.Siri
