Hi, my greatgrandmothers fn was Froney. Have any of you ever heard of it? Anybody know of what origin it is or what it means?? Any info you might have is apprieciated. Thanks!!!

I'm thinking of a form of Frannie or a pet form of Frona.

I'd guess it was a pet diminutive of Sophronia.
