I've always thought that this was a pretty name. It's hardly used anymore(a plus imo). Since old-fashioned names are back in style, do you think that Fern's popularity will rise again eventually(at least somewhat)? Also, I heard that they are planning to make a new Charlotte's Web movie. I'm wondering if a lot of people have forgotten about the name, and will remember it once they see the movie, and then think, "This is cute. Maybe I'll name my daughter this." Just a thought...
