[Opinions] Eloise?
Well D-day is here and still no baby, but that is probably a good thing since we are still searching for a girl's name. My husband is in love with Elle, and I agree it is a pretty name, but I want something a little more for the birth certificate and when she gets older. My name never really lent itself to many options, and I want that for my child, plus older sis Charlotte has that. We would mainly call her Elle/Ellie, but would use the formal name as well.Eloise- didn't love it at first, but it is really growing on me. Elena- for some reason this sounds a little exotic to me. is it too much so for an irish/german/american family?Eleanor- this has been suggested from the beginning, but I cannot shake the old lady image for some reason.Elle- my husband's first choice.or something else, which possibly ends in -el (no Isobel though; we know about 6 under 3)?Also Charley's mn is after my youngest sis and goddaughter- Charlotte MacKenzie. I think I would like to use my second youngest sister's name as mn, but is Eloise/Elena/Elle Alexandra too much of a mouthful?
