What do you guys think of Simonetta? I know it might seem a bit much, but I find myself loving it. I have gotten really into Renaissance Italy recently and this name in particular has a certain sentimental appeal for me.

What do you think of the combo Simonetta Lucretia? Do you prefer the more simple Simonetta Lucia?

Francesco
Cosima
Venetia
Ginevra
Florentina

I like Simonetta, but I still prefer Simona. I think I like Simonetta Lucia a bit more (especially if you prn. Lucia in Italian). I love Alessandro and Francesco and like Cosima, Ginevra and Florentina.

I really dislike it. It seems like a diminutive and is way over-the-top. I love Simone and Simona, though.

Lucretia is gorgeous, as is Lucia (I only like loo-SEE-ah).

I actually really like Simonetta! I like Simonetta Lucretia, but I think a more simple middle name would appeal to me better. Lucia isn't a favorite of mine, but Simonetta Lucia is still a very pretty combination.

I love all of the other names listed with the exception of Alessandro, but that's mostly because of a personal association. I especially love Cosima and Florentina. Hm, Simonetta Cosima?

I love 'ette/a' names, and Simonetta is definitly not an exception. It is a lot, but I think with the right middle name to balance it, it would be lovely.

Alessandro "Sandro" -- I'm not a huge fan of this.
Francesco -- Love!
Cosima-- It's okay... not something I love, and not something I hate. I like the look of it, but I'm not a fan of the sound.
Venetia -- this is a town near my home house, I can't think of it in any other context
Ginevra -- I really like this... and love Gina as a nn.
Florentina -- I've never been a fan of this name. For some reason its always sounded like the name of a type of fish
