Cate and
Katie are much too popular for me, and I prefer my girls' names to be harsh rather than too feminine and frilly - I much prefer feminine names that are historical with a strong usage -
Margaret,
Katharine,
Magdalene,
Judith,
Miriam - as opposed to wimpy, frilly names.
