I've known one girl with this as a fn, and two with it as a mn. And when it was a first name, she pronounced it Lin-nay-ah, but the two who had it as a mn pronounced it as just Lin-nay. I think either pronunciation can be correct.I think it is very pretty.

They are both stressed on the second syllable.

LinneLinne is the spelling for lin-AY. It's the surname that Linnea derived from. I could see it as a masculine form, though I've never heard of it used. lin-AY is definitely not a "legit" pronunciation for Linnea though.
