I'm sorry, but I'm confused by your comment about the Behind the Name surnames board. Since when have you had to have an "account" to access it? It doesn't have a lot of surnames listed yet, but as far as I know you can both look at the surnames it does have, and ask questions on its discussion board, for free.As the "Help" section on the surname board says:Logging in is optional for most users. However some domains are restricted (notably AOL), meaning you need to sign up for a username/password before you can post.If even "logging in" is optional for most users, why do you think you need an "account"? :) My educated guess about Kazanjian and Kulhanjian was that they were Armenian surnames, and that seems to be correct, as you find both of them in the following list of donors to the Armenian Church of America.
