I think it would be okay on a boy, but I much prefer it on a girl. To me it's unisex, just like
Sasha and
Jordan are unisex. They are okay for both genders and don't sound particularly masculine or feminine as opposed to other unisex names such as
Courtney (most people see is as feminine) or
Christian and
Noah (most people see them as masculine).
It needs a very strong, masculine middle name, though. Something like
James,
William,
Richard or
Charles.
As I said I much prefer it on a girl and I like Harlow
Winter Kate, what
Nicole Richie chose for her daughter. I think it is more feminine to me because of
Jean Harlow.
