[Opinions] But what do you think of Takeo and Kaede?

Kaede means "maple" and I think it sounds beautiful. I think it would be pronounced as "KIE-deh".
And I think Takeo might be pronounced "Tah-KEH-o".
"You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I didn't know the pronunciation of Kaede, but I really like it. :) I assumed it was like CADE / KADE, and the spelling makes it looks like a kre8tiv form. But I like the sound of KIE-deh, though it would likely get mispronounced if used on a 'real' person. :b
Takeo is not bad. I think I've seen it before, btw. Not positive if it's a 'real' name, though.

Yes, Takeo is a real name
I asked and got answer on the Facts board. The author Lian Hearn obviously did some research, she has even been to Japan.
