[Opinions] Makes me think of...
Alligators, since it's very close to the name of a kind of them (or its relative of some sort; it's a cayman or a caiman). I wouldn't be too enthusiastic about actually using it since it it's close to (or in the case of one of its variants, it is) the name of an animal.Despite that barrier, I like the sound of it. I like a couple of -mon names, like Eamonn and Hamon. I think they have a good, strong sound to them.
